Change in HKScan’s Executive Team

Anne Mere, EVP Business Unit Baltics and a member of the Group Executive Team,
will leave her position.

“I would like to thank Anne for her long and valuable contribution to HKScan and
the company’s Baltic business. I wish her all the best for the years ahead,”
says HKScan’s CEO Tero Hemmilä.

As of 13 August 2021, Juha Ruohola, a Group Executive Team member, has been
appointed as the new EVP Business Unit Baltics. In addition to the Baltic
business, he will continue to be responsible for HKScan’s Polish business, the
Group’s biotech business and meat balance. Juha Ruohola has been at HKScan since
autumn 2019. He has extensive international experience in a variety of executive
positions in the food industry.

In the same connection, Mika Koskinen, the Group Executive Team member
responsible for HKScan’s strategic business development and investments will
take over responsibility for the Group’s exports and imports, which were until
13 August the responsibility of Juha Ruohola.
