CESSATION OF ALTERNATE DIRECTOR

Reference is made to the announcement of HKBN Ltd. (the “ Company ”) dated 2 March 2023 (the “ Announcement ”) in respect of the appointment of alternate director. Unless otherwise defined, capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcement.

The Board announces that Mr. Hongfei Yu has ceased to be an Alternate Director to Ms. Shengping Yu, a Non-executive Director of the Company, with effect from 14 July 2023 due to the return of Ms. Yu.

Mr. Yu confirms that he has no disagreement with the Board and there is no matter in relation to his cessation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

The Board would like to express its gratitude to Mr. Yu for his valuable contribution and advice to the Company during his tenure of directorship.
