VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT
LEAVE OF ABSENCE OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF THE GROUP
This announcement is made by HKBN Ltd. (the “ Company ”, together with its subsidiaries, the “ Group ”) on a voluntary basis.
The board of directors (the “ Board ”) of the Company wishes to inform that Mr. Ni Quiaque LAI, Executive Director of the Company and the Chief Executive Officer of the Group, will take a personal leave of absence for a short period, expected to be three months with effect from 18 October 2022.
During this period, Mr. Chu Kwong YEUNG, Executive Director of the Company, the Executive Vice-chairman and the former Chief Executive Officer of the Group, will take on the duties and responsibilities of the Chief Executive Officer of the Group. The Company does not expect that there will be any interruption to the management of the business and operations of the Group in the interim.
The Board looks forward to Mr. Ni Quiaque LAI’s return in due course.
