The Ministry of Mines, Government of lndia vide Order No. 10/4/2019-Met.lll (pt.) dated 26.7.2021 (copy enctosed) has appointed shri Sanjay Panjiyar, Chief General Manager, NMDC Ltd, as Director (operations) in Hindustan Copper Ltd in the pay scale of Rs.1,80,000- 3,40,000/- from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation i.e. 30.6.2024 or until further orders, whichever is eartier. Shri Sanjay Panjiyar has assumed the charge of the post of Director (Operations), Hindustan Copper Ltd today i.e. 31.7.2021. Brief profite of Shri Panjiyar is enctosed.

Shri Panjiyar is not retated to any other Members of the Board of Directors of the Company or their retatives. He is atso not debarred from holding the office of director pursuant to any SEBI order or any other authority.

The above is submitted pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obtigations and Disclosure Requirements) Regutations, 2015 for information ptease.

ORDER

In terms of Article 70(1) of the Articles of Association of Hindustan Copper Limited (a Miniratna CPSE under the control of Ministry of Mines)), the President is pleased to appoint Shri Sanjay Panjiyar, Chief General Manager, NMDC Ltd. as Director (Operations), Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) in the scale of pay of Rs. 1.80,000-3.40,000/- from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation i.e. 30.06.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The detailed terms and conditions of appointment of Shri Sanjay Panjiyar to 2. the post of Director (Operations), HCL will be issued separately.

Profile of Shri Saniay Paniiyar

Shri Sanjay Panjiyar stated his career in Vizag Steet Ptant, Rashtrtiya lspat Nigam Limited as MT(T) in the year 1989 after compteting his B. Tech (Production Engineering) from BIT Sindri.

He has rich and varied experience spanning over 31 years in pubtic and private sector companies and has gained reputation to solve critica[ issues in steel making and mining sector.

During his career in Vizag Steet Ptant he has earned experience in testing, commissioning, stabilization and operations of Rolling milt. Post VSP, RINL he has worked in private sector where-in he was heading operation and projects of metal and mining.

ln the year 2015, he joined NMDC Limited in the prestigious green field 3.0 A TpA steet ptant project at NlsP Nagarnar, Bastar chhattisgarh. As chief General Manager he was in-charge of many major packages and has ptayed significant role in comptetion of NlSp project.
