Shri Sukhen Kumar Bandyopadhyay has ceased to be Director (Finance) of Hindustan Copper Ltd (HCL) w.e.f. 13.09.2021 (Afternoon) consequent upon acceptance of his resignation by the Competent Authority in terms of Release Order No. 10/2/2017-Met.III dated 10.09.2021 (copy enclosed) issued by Ministry of Mines, Government of India. Shri Bandyopadhyay accordingly also ceases to be Chief Financial Officer of the Company.

In terms of the above Release Order dated 10.9.2021, Shri Ghanshyam Sharma, Director (Finance), Mineral Exploration Corporation Ltd has assumed additional charge of the post of Director (Finance), HCL for a period of six months w.e.f. 13.9.2021 (Afternoon) to 13.3.2022 to till a regular incumbent joins the post or until further orders, whichever is the earliest. Brief profile of Shri Sharma is enclosed.

Shri Sharma is not related to any other Member of the Board of Directors of the Company or their relatives. He is also not debarred from holding the office of director pursuant to any SEBI Order or any other authority.

RELEASE ORDER

Shri Sukhen Kumar Bandyopadhyay, Director (Finance), is relieved from the services of Hindustan Copper Limited (a CPSE under the Ministry of Mines), consequent upon acceptance of his technical resignation by the Competent Authority, with effect from 13.09.2021 (Afternoon) so as to enable him to join his present lien post as CGM, SJVN Limited.

Shri S. K. Bandyopadhyay shall hand over the charge of the post of Director $\overline{2}$ . (Finance) to Shri Ghanshyam Sharma, Director (Finance), MECL, who has been assigned the additional charge of the post of Director (Finance). HCL.

Shri Ghanshyam Sharma, is a Chartered Accountant, having experience of more than 33 years in audit and working of various PSUs engaged in the field of Finance, Engineering, Telecommunication, Power, Consultancy, Construction, Paper and Exploration etc. He has worked in different capacities in varied Public Sector Undertakings like Telecom Consultants (lndia) Limited (TCIL), Nuclear Power Corporation Limited (NPCIL), Hindustan Newsprint Limited (HNL) and Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited. He has vast experience in Project Management of Power, Telecom, Exploration Projects and providing PMC Services. lnvolved in the execution of Projects costin8 Rs, 8000/- crore and Feeder Replacement Project costing Rs.450/- Crore. The activities were managed in such a way that an additional revenue to the extent of Ra 24 crore p.a is being generated regularly by the Power Station. The investments of surplus funds were made to generate maximum income.

Besides, he has got exposure in the field offinancing of projects, i.e. raising offunds through issue of Bonds, Term Loan, Cash Credit etc. from bank and Suppliers' Credit etc. He has widely travelled and served in lndia & abroad like Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Afghanistan beside special assignment with the United Nations.

Shri Ghanshyam Sharma has joined Hindustan Copper Limited on 13.09.2021. Besides he is Director Finance of Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited (MECL) since 27th February, 2018. Prior to this, he was Director (Finance) in Hindustan Newsprint Limited (HNL).
