Dear Sir,

I wish to inform you that there is a proposal for my candidature to another listed company and since I am already on board of 3 listed companies, I will have to step down from one of the listed companies to be regulatory compliant. As I have been longest on the board of HCC & my final term is coming to end soon, I would like to step down from being Independent Director of HCC with immediate effect. I also confirm that there is no other material reason for this resignation.

I would like to place on record my deep appreciation of the long association with HCC and the Board of Directors and thank you for giving this opportunity to serve the board of HCC, I wish you &the company all the success.
