Himalaya Shipping Ltd. (HSHP) New time charter agreement for Mount Ita

Hamilton, Bermuda, January 9, 2026

The Company has entered into a new time charter agreement for the Mount Ita

for a period of 11 to 14 months. The vessel will commence the new time charter

in the second half of January following the planned redelivery under its

current charter.

The vessel will earn an index linked rate, reflecting a significant premium to

the Baltic 5TC index, as well as certain rights to convert the time charters

to fixed rates based on the prevailing FFA curve from time to time.
