RETIREMENT OF CHAIRMAN

The Board of Hillgrove Resources Limited (Company) advises that Dean Brown AO, has decided to step down from the Board, shortly after the AGM to be held on 25 May 2017.

Dean has been an integral member of the Board since 2006 and in his role as Chairman has been instrumental in steering the Company to a much improved position following recent cashflow challenges. It is a testament to his fortitude and commitment that he has ensured the Company has managed this most challenging period before he chose to step down.

Managing Director Steven McClare, on behalf of the Hillgrove Resources Board, has paid tribute to Dean Brown. “The Board and Management thank Dean Brown for his outstanding leadership and significant contribution over the past decade and wish him well with furthering his extensive community work across Australia”.

The Board has elected Mr John Gooding as the incoming Chairman. John is a mining engineer with over forty years’ experience in the resources industry and has been a member of the Board since 2007.

The Board’s Nomination Committee has commenced its succession planning process to identify a potential replacement Director. It has developed a shortlist of potential candidates and hopes to be able to make an appointment within weeks.
