Hill & Smith announces that it has made an application to the UK Listing Authority for 357,000 ordinary shares of 25p each ("the New Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to the Official List and has also applied for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted for trading on the London Stock Exchange's market listed securities.  The applications comprise a block listing relating to the Hill & Smith Holdings PLC 2005 SAYE Scheme and the 2005 Executive Scheme.

The New Ordinary Shares will, on issue, rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.  Admission of the New Ordinary Shares is expected to become effective on or around 23 January 2013.
