Secretary Change

Hill & Smith Holdings PLC ('Hill & Smith' or 'the Group'), an international group with leading positions in the supply of infrastructure products and galvanizing services to global markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Henderson as Group Company Secretary, with effect from 1 January 2015.  Alex's appointment follows the planned retirement of John Humphreys and completion of an orderly handover exercise.  Alex joins from Halfords Group plc, a FTSE 250 listed business, where he was Group Company Secretary and Head of Legal for six years.

Derek Muir, Chief Executive, said, "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank John for his ten years of dedicated service to the Group and we wish him well in his retirement.  Alex joins the Group at an exciting time in its development and I am certain his experience in both the legal and listed company environment will be a great asset to the Group."
