New managing director of H+H's activities in the UK

H+H UK Limited's Managing Director, Michael J. Flynn, 61, has decided to retire after almost twenty years in the company. Michael J. Flynn will leave the company by the end of 2007, and at the same time he will also retire from his position as COO in H+H International A/S. A new COO will not be appointed.

The new Managing Director of H+H UK Limited will be Mark Oliver, 45. Mark Oliver will start working for H+H UK Limited in early November 2007 so that a smooth transition can take place. One of Mark Oliver's focus areas will be to continue the implementation of H+H's strategy, Build with ease, in the UK.

Mark Oliver comes from a position with Laing O'Rourke Plc, one of the largest construction firms in the UK, where at present he holds the position of Business Development Director, European Construction, and previously was Group Business Development Director. Before joining Laing O'Rourke, Mark Oliver held leadership positions with manufacturers and distributors of building products in both the UK and South-East Asia, and he has also worked as a management consultant with McKinsey.

Mark Oliver holds a Bsc(Hons) in Civil Engineering and an MBA from INSEAD, and he has also been a Captain in the Royal Engineers.
