Hexatronic completes previously announced acquisition of Opternus GmbH

Hexatronic Group AB (publ) ("Hexatronic") has today, November 1, 2018, completed the previously announced acquisition of the German fiber optic company Opternus GmbH ("Opternus"), which operates in sales, training and service of fiber optic fusion splicing and measuring equipment for fiber optic communication networks.

Opternus is strategically a very important acquisition for Hexatronic in the vision of becoming a reliable, long-term player on the rapidly growing German market.

The acquisition was originally announced on October 25, 2018 and took place via a transfer of shares. Opternus will be consolidated into the Hexatronic Group from November 1, 2018.

The acquisition is financed through a combination of a senior bank loan and a revolving credit facility provided by Danske Bank.
