Hexatronic completes previously announced acquisition of Blue Diamond Industries

Hexatronic Group AB (publ) ("Hexatronic") has today, January 2, 2018, completed the previously announced acquisition of Blue Diamond Industries LLC ("BDI"), headquartered in Lexington, USA. BDI manufactures High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) conduits and ducts for the telecommunications and power markets.

The acquisition significantly strengthens Hexatronic's presence on the North American market. The business will be run as an independent company within the Group, with full responsibility for the value chain from sales to delivery and aftermarket.

The acquisition was originally announced on December 4, 2017, and took place via a transfer of shares from the vendors comprising the BDI management group. BDI will be consolidated into the Hexatronic Group from January 2, 2018.

Danske Bank has provided committed credit facilities securing long term financing for the acquisition.
