Very good increase in 3rd quarter turnover in line with forecast trends

28.5% increase for Q3 and strong growth in construction starts

The third quarter was marked by strong acceleration in turnover, which reached 103.6 M€, a 28.5% increase, confirming the trends forecast at the start of the financial year.

The quarter's activity includes the two latest acquisitions made by the Group (Maisons et Résidences Corbioli and Maisons Les Naturelles). For a constant perimeter, the 3rd quarter turnover increased by + 24%.

The high increase in construction starts recorded since March 2010 continued, giving the Group excellent visibility in the last part of the year and for the coming year.

Over 9 months, activity was 307.4 M€, a 4.2% increase.

Continued large increase in order intake

Dynamic sales continue. Cumulative order intake at the end of October 2010 was 6,175, an increase of 19.7% in number compared to 2009 (+16.6% at constant perimeter) and 25.6% in value (+21.9% at constant perimeter). October 2010 was a record month.

The average sale price is benefiting from the return of second time buyers and an increase in LCB - Low Consumption Building sales.

Maisons France Confort, leading again with the MFC 2020 concept

As part of its strategy of constant innovation in energy saving and sustainable development, Maisons France Confort, in partnership with a pool of market leading industrial companies like EDF, Groupe Saint Gobain, Arcelor Mittal and Schneider Electric, is reinventing the individual house with a totally new 'house + transport = zero energy and zero CO2' concept.

So, through innovative new technologies and the different partners' expertise (phase change materials, vacuum insulators, liquid crystal windows, high performance household electrical equipment…), this concept imagines a new form of dwelling that brings together a positive energy house and mobility with an electric car recharged from the excess energy produced by the house.

The construction of a pilot house will start during the 1st quarter of 2011 in the Lyons region with delivery programmed for the 1st quarter of 2012. The clearly declared objective of this project is to validate technological solutions encouraging the acquisition of property throughout the country by providing a real solution for individual mobility.

Confirmed growth for 2010 and 2011

The level of activity achieved over the first 9 months of the year and the excellent commercial performance confirms:

• The 2010 turnover growth figure close to 10%,
• A progressive return to normal profitability for the Group,
• Certain growth for the 2011 financial year

In the medium term, Maisons France Confort will draw profit from:

• A market that remains structurally buoyant (worsening of the housing shortage in France) and which is benefiting from government measures introduced to encourage first time buyers (Zero rate loan (PTZ) without resource conditions),
• A sector in a concentration phase that offers numerous opportunities. As part of this, the Group has just bought the assets of the CMO Construction Moderne de l'Ouest company and CMO Pastel based in Vannes which bring to MFC Group expertise in the manufacturing procedures for cellular concrete and red bricks,
• A complete, innovative, labelled product range (LCB House, Performances House and Energétiques Packs) that is several lengths in the lead and responds perfectly to all future energy constraints,
• New growth relays to be exploited, such as thermal renovation.
