The third quarter was marked by strong acceleration in turnover, which reached 103.6 M€, a 28.5% increase, confirming the trends forecast at the start of the financial year.
The quarter's activity includes the two latest acquisitions made by the Group (Maisons et Résidences Corbioli and Maisons Les Naturelles). For a constant perimeter, the 3rd quarter turnover increased by + 24%.
The high increase in construction starts recorded since March 2010 continued, giving the Group excellent visibility in the last part of the year and for the coming year.
Over 9 months, activity was 307.4 M€, a 4.2% increase.
Dynamic sales continue. Cumulative order intake at the end of October 2010 was 6,175, an increase of 19.7% in number compared to 2009 (+16.6% at constant perimeter) and 25.6% in value (+21.9% at constant perimeter). October 2010 was a record month.
The average sale price is benefiting from the return of second time buyers and an increase in LCB - Low Consumption Building sales.
As part of its strategy of constant innovation in energy saving and sustainable development, Maisons France Confort, in partnership with a pool of market leading industrial companies like EDF, Groupe Saint Gobain, Arcelor Mittal and Schneider Electric, is reinventing the individual house with a totally new 'house + transport = zero energy and zero CO2' concept.
So, through innovative new technologies and the different partners' expertise (phase change materials, vacuum insulators, liquid crystal windows, high performance household electrical equipment…), this concept imagines a new form of dwelling that brings together a positive energy house and mobility with an electric car recharged from the excess energy produced by the house.
The construction of a pilot house will start during the 1st quarter of 2011 in the Lyons region with delivery programmed for the 1st quarter of 2012. The clearly declared objective of this project is to validate technological solutions encouraging the acquisition of property throughout the country by providing a real solution for individual mobility.
