Item 8.01 Other Events.

On August 23, 2021, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (“Hewlett Packard Enterprise”) announced that it will redeem all $500 million aggregate principal amount of its outstanding 3.500% Notes due 2021, CUSIP Number: 42824C BC2, and all $800 million aggregate principal amount of its outstanding Floating Rate Notes due 2021, CUSIP Number: 42824C BB4 (collectively, the “Notes”), on September 7, 2021 (the “Redemption Date”). The Notes of each series will be redeemed at a redemption price equal to 100% of the principal amount of the Notes of such series to be redeemed, plus accrued and unpaid interest, if any, to, but excluding, the Redemption Date.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise has instructed The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A., as the trustee for the Notes, to distribute a notice of redemption to all registered holders of the Notes of each series on August 23, 2021. Copies of such notice of redemption and additional information relating to the procedure for redemption of the Notes may be obtained from The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A.
