Rajiv Gandhi
CEO & Managing Director
Hester Biosciences was founded by Rajiv Gandhi. Since launching a single vaccine in 1997, he has led the company to become one of Asia's largest animal vaccine producers. Through strategic diversification and a deep understanding of the evolving business landscape, he has transformed Hester into a leading force in animal healthcare.
He serves as President of Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA). He has served as a member on the National Advisory Committee for the Animal Husbandry and Dairying Sector constituted by the Government of India and also as Chairman of FICCI Gujarat State Council. He remains associated with leading academic institutions.
In recognition of his entrepreneurial vision and contribution to the industry, he was conferred the Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year award by Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) in 2016.
He believes investing in science, people and systems, he addresses evolving market needs while shaping the future of animal healthcare.
Priya Gandhi
Executive Director
Priya Gandhi serves as the Executive Director of Hester Biosciences Limited. Associated with Hester since 2016, she has steered the Company's strategic direction and business expansion while institutionalising cross-functional integration across businesses and subsidiaries and fostering strategic partnerships. She also strengthens organisational effectiveness through corporate policy formulation and governs their end-to-end execution and adherence.
Her undergraduate degree from Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology equips her to direct the Company's corporate communications and branding, while her Postgraduate degree in Management for Family Business from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad complements her role in driving and managing business expansion initiatives.
Her endeavor remains to bring transformative healthcare solutions that serve animals, empower farmers and support the vision of One Health globally.

VITAL 2 PROJECT
Veterinary Innovations Transforming Animal Health and Livelihoods 2 (VITAL 2) project aims to enable sustainable market-driven ruminant vaccine delivery, increase ruminant vaccine adoption and coverage and improve ruminant livestock health across Kenya, Nigeria and Tanzania for small scale producers (SSPs).
The programme is to scale up ruminant vaccine availability and accessibility at a national level while also working in targeted exemplar areas and production systems as entry points.
