Patrick Thomas prepares the succession to the head of Hermès International

Following a proposal from Patrick Thomas, chief executive officer of Hermès international, the board of Emile Hermès SARL, the active partner in Hermès International, will nominate in June 2013, Mr Axel Dumas joint-CEO of Hermès International alongside Mr Thomas.

Mr Thomas said: "I have been working for over 6 years with Axel, he has all the abilities to take the position. I am delighted with the prospect of seeing a member of the Hermès family, succeed me." M. Axel Dumas, 42 years old, a member of the sixth generation of the Hermès family is currently chief operating officer of Hermès International.
