Update on C Share Issue

Further to its announcement on 10 February 2017 of a possible issue of equity, the Board of Directors of Henderson International Income Trust plc is pleased to confirm that in the light of positive feedback from existing and potential new shareholders they have resolved to proceed with an issue of C shares.  Existing shareholders will be given an opportunity to participate in the issue.

The C share issue will be subject to the approval of shareholders at a general meeting to be convened in due course. 

The expected closing date for the issue is in early May 2017.
