HELMA Eigenheimbau AG reports strong sales figures for the first half of
2010

Lehrte, July 8, 2010 - HELMA Eigenheimbau AG, the specialist for individual
solid-construction homes and sustainable energy concepts, has successfully
continued the dynamic order growth of the past years into the first half of
2010. The HELMA Group sold a total of 299 houses in the first six months of
the current financial year (H1 2009: 271), thereby achieving a net order
intake of EUR 49.2 million (H1 2009: EUR 45.5 million). This represents
growth of more than eight percent compared with the already very good order
intake figures achieved in the first half of 2009. In particular, the
property development subsidiary, HELMA Wohnungsbau, also made an important
contribution to this gratifying trend with 21 units sold (H1 2009: 9).

The Management Board of HELMA Eigenheimbau AG is very confident that it
will be able to present new record sales figures on a full-year view.
Following a net order intake of EUR 83.3 million over the full 2009 year, a
net sales volume of significantly more than EUR 90 million is now
anticipated for the 2010 financial year.

The sales figures for the first half of 2010 presented above already
include all cancellations received until the day preceding the publication
of this announcement. The previous year's figures are based on the same
reporting date in order to allow optimal comparability.
