HELMA Eigenheimbau AG: Sustained sales success in the third quarter of 2009
underlines positive growth perspectives

Lehrte, October 8, 2009 - In the first nine months of the 2009 business
year the HELMA Group sold a total of 391 houses (Q1-Q3 2008: 315 houses).
The average net sales price rose from TEUR 166 to TEUR 167 over the prior
year period, which results in a net order intake of EUR 65.4 million (Q1-Q3
2008: EUR 52.1 million). This equals a gain of 26 percent by comparison
with last year.

After the end of the first three quarters it can already be stated that the
HELMA Group, both in terms of order intake, as well as the volume of orders
on the books, will generate record figures in the 2009 business year. These
gratifying sales developments are especially connected with the completed
nation-wide expansion activities, which have resulted in an increasing
stabilization of the individual locations and subsequently generated
considerable positive sales effects. In addition, it must be emphasized
here that the enhanced awareness of the HELMA brand, as well as the
increased sales strengths, also in the established areas, have generated
gratifying growth rates.

The forecast for the upcoming 2010 business year stated in connection with
the publication of the semi-annual report, which, among others, envisages
considerable revenue increases to at least EUR 78 million, is thereby
solidly underlined by the order gains in 2009.

NOTE CONCERNING THE PUBLICATION OF SALES FIGURES:

The sales figures for the first nine months of the 2009 business year
presented above already include all cancellations received up until the day
preceding the publication of this announcement. The previous year's figures
are based on the same reporting date to allow optimal comparability.
