Ferienimmobilien GmbH, and taps attractive additional revenue and earnings
potentials
Lehrte, March 10, 2011 - HELMA Eigenheimbau AG, the specialist for
individual solid construction houses and sustainable energy concepts, has
founded wholly-owned subsidiary HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH, which it
intends to develop into one of the leading German providers of holiday
homes within the next few years. HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH will focus on
developing, planning and selling holiday homes and apartments that are to
be created at locations with good infrastructure development, predominantly
on Germany's North Sea and Baltic coasts. HELMA's holiday properties will
be constructed to high quality standards, come fully equipped, and will be
appropriate for use throughout the entire year. They will also include
additional equipment features such as fireplaces, saunas and jacuzzis.
As a HELMA Eigenheimbau AG subsidiary, HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH can make
recourse to more than 30 years of experience and expertise in solid
construction homebuilding technology, and will also benefit from the parent
company's good credit standing and high degree of recognition and
familiarity on the markets. Along with HELMA Eigenheimbau AG Management
Board members Karl-Heinz Maerzke and Gerrit Janssen, HELMA Ferienimmobilien
GmbH has recruited Per Barlag Arnholm, a proven holiday property market
expert, as its managing director. Mr. Arnholm has held management positions
in the holiday property area for the last ten years, and has been
responsible for the successful realisation of projects entailing a total of
several hundreds of units sold. As a consequence, he possesses extensive
know-how that he will contribute to the creation and successful management
of the new company.
HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH is currently in the phase of developing its
first projects that will be presented for the first time by as early as the
next months prospectively. The new subsidiary's first projects to be
realised and to become revenue-effective are expected for the 2012
financial year, where the company is aiming for a revenue volume of at
least EUR 10 million and an EBIT margin of significantly above 10%. An
annual revenue volume of between EUR 15 million and EUR 30 million is
budgeted for the medium term.
