Isernhagen, 6 July 2007 – The shareholders of HELMA Eigenheimbau AG agreed
to all of the resolutions on today’s AGM agenda by a large majority. In
addition to relieving members of the Management Board and the Supervisory
Board of their duties, it was resolved, among other items, to carry forward
the balance sheet profit to the new account pursuant to the proposal for
the allocation of the unappropriated profits, and to carry out a stock
option programme.
Record earnings in 2006; expansion progresses according to plan:
Within their presentation, the Board reported the best result in the
company’s history. In comparison to 2005, revenues in financial year 2006
increased around 74 percent to EUR 57,563 thousand and EBIT even climbed
330 percent to EUR 2,485 thousand. The construction services provider thus,
once again, beat the significant growth of the years before by far.
According to the Board, one of the reasons for the ongoing success story
was the consistent implementation of the successful expansion strategy.
The signs for 2007 also point to further growth. Additional show houses
have been opened recently in Munich Poing, Würzburg and Baiersdorf near
Nuremberg. In addition, HELMA Eigenheimbau AG will present a
technologically new type of home this year – the sun house – which will be
available for viewing as a show house in Offenburg and in Lehrte. The sun
house underlines HELMA Eigenheimbau AG’s great expertise in future markets
for economic, ecologically friendly construction methods, for which high
growth rates are expected in the coming years.
Positive outlook remains unchanged:
The Board of HELMA Eigenheimbau AG appeared optimistic about the current
financial year 2007 and confirmed the annual guidance published within the
scope of the annual report; the guidance foresees 2007 revenues of over EUR
80 million for the HELMA Group. With such revenue volumes, the Board of
HELMA Eigenheimbau AG expects to be able to more than double EBIT to around
EUR 5.5 million.
