Changes to Exploration Team
Helix Resources Limited (ASX:HLX) wishes to announce the resignation of long serving employee, Mr Mick Wilson, currently the Company’s General Manager-Geology to explore other opportunities.
Mick has been with the Company since 1997 in the roles of Geologist, Exploration Manager, Technical Director and Managing Director.
Mick was responsible for securing of all of the Company’s projects and the carrying out of exploration which discovered and defined JORC resources at Collerina, and Canbelego.
Commenting on his resignation Non-Executive Chairman Peter Lester said “Mick has been a part of Helix for well over 20 years and has been instrumental in securing the portfolio of high-quality assets the Company has at present. Mick has brought significant skills and expertise to the Company in his various roles. Personally, and on behalf of the Company, we thank Mick for his significant contribution and wish him the best in his future endeavours.”
Mr Wilson has given three months Notice and the Company is currently seeking a replacement Exploration Manager. It is envisaged that there will be a transition period once a replacement has been found.
