Completion of $4.86M Capital Raising

Share Placement

Directors

On 21 July 2021, Helios Energy Ltd (ASX Codes: HE8, HE8OA) ( Helios or Company ) advised that it has conducted a capital raising of $4,862,500 by the issue of 32,416,668 shares at a price of 15 cents per share ( Placement ). The Placement was made to sophisticated and professional investors under the provisions of section 708 of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). The Placement was conducted within the 15% placement capacity available to the Company in accordance with ASX Listing Rule 7.1.

The Company has completed the issue and allotment of 32,416,668 shares at 15 cents per share to raise $4,862,500 as per the lodged Appendix 2A.

Use of Placement Proceeds

The funds raised from the Placement will be used for working capital purposes and to purchase additional oil and gas leases in the Presidio Oil Project located in Presidio County, Texas, USA.

Capital Raising Fees

In addition to the payment of standard commercial capital raising fees, the Company has issued 200,000 shares to a broker who assisted with the $4,862,500 capital raising. An Appendix 2A in respect of the issue and allotment of these 200,000 shares has also been lodged.
