Helical Bar plc ("Helical Bar" or the "Group")

APPOINTMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY AND

CHANGE OF ROLE OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Helical Bar announces today that Heather Williams FCIS has been appointed as Helical Bar's Company Secretary with immediate effect.  She has been working in company secretarial roles for over twenty years, with her previous experience including four years as the Company Secretary of Petropavlovsk PLC and five years at Investec Asset Management Limited, where she was the Company Secretary to UK listed investment trusts.  

As a result of this appointment and in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11, Helical Bar confirms that Tim Murphy, the Group Finance Director, will no longer be acting as Company Secretary, a position he has held since joining the Group in 1994 and which he has held concurrently since becoming Deputy Finance Director in 2011 and Finance Director in 2012.
