Item 8.01 Other Events.

On April 14, 2020, Hecla Mining Company announced the restart of its Casa Berardi operations in Quebec, following the government of Quebec’s decision to allow mining activities to resume on April 15 th . The news release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
