RESPONSE TO MEDIA SPECULATION
The Board of Primary Health Care Limited (“Primary”) notes the media speculation today in the Australian Financial Review.
The Company confirms Underlying Net Profit after Tax for the year ending 30 June 2018 is expected to be towards the lower end of the guidance range of $92 million to $97 million.
Primary continues to review its capital management options and potential acquisition opportunities in conjunction with its strategic investment plans. Net debt is expected to be in line with the level reported at 31 December 2017 ($770.6 million).
Results for the year ended 30 June 2018 will be announced on Monday 20 August 2018 when further details regarding the Company’s strategy and outlook will be provided.
