Sub: Intimation of purchase of shares by HCL Technologies Stock Options Trust

This is to inform you that in terms of disclosure received by the Company in compliance of Regulation 7(2)(b) of the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015, HCL Technologies Stock Options Trust (“Trust”) has acquired 55,00,000 (Fifty-Five lacs) shares of the Company, constituting 0.20% of share capital of the Company, on the platform of a recognized stock exchange for cash consideration of Rs.700.41 crores.

The Trust has acquired the aforesaid shares for the purpose of implementation of ‘HCL ’ Technologies Limited - Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2021 .

The necessary disclosure in Form C under SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015 is being submitted separately.
