CHANGE TO BOARD & APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR

PERTH, AUSTRALIA; 29 OCTOBER 2021 : Hazer Group (ASX: HZR) is pleased to advise the following changes to the Board of Hazer Group.

Professor Andrew Harris, having served as a Director of Hazer Group since 2015, will retire from the Board of Hazer at the upcoming 2021 AGM.

Mr. Tim Goldsmith, Chair of Hazer Group said, “On behalf of all shareholders and the Board, I would like to thank Andrew for his service and commitment to Hazer over the last six years. Andrew has played key roles in shepherding the Hazer technology from its early laboratory desk-top programs to the current Hazer Commercial Demonstration Project (“CDP”). As Hazer embarks on the next stage of its development, we wish Andrew well for his future endeavours, and look forward to welcoming him to WA to visit the operational Hazer CDP in 2022.”

Hazer Group is also delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Jack Hamilton as an independent nonexecutive director and welcomes him to the Board of Hazer Group. Dr. Hamilton will commence his appointment from 1 November 2021, and his appointment will be put to a vote of shareholders at the upcoming AGM.

Jack Hamilton is a highly experienced senior executive and board director with extensive expertise across technology development, operations and manufacturing, project management, business development and commercial ventures.

Dr Hamilton has held senior positions across the energy sector both locally and internationally, including heading up Australia's largest resource project as Director North West Shelf Ventures for Woodside Energy Ltd. Jack is currently Chair of ASX listed technology company, AnteoTech (ASX ADO) and a non-executive director with Calix Ltd (ASX CXL), having formally been a director of infrastructure company DUET Group Ltd amongst other positions. Jack graduated from University of Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering before undertaking post-graduate study to attain a Doctorate of Philosophy.

Tim Goldsmith, Chair of Hazer Group said, "We are delighted to welcome Dr Hamilton to the Hazer Board. We believe that Jack’s extensive experience across the energy, infrastructure and technology sectors will be an excellent addition to our Board as we embark on the next phase of our development with the completion of the CDP in early 2022 and roll-out of the technology to first generation commercial projects in the coming years. In particular Jack’s experience with developing new technology and execution of infrastructure projects will be important as we navigate the next stage of our development. We look forward to working with Jack and his contribution to the Board of Hazer as we commercialise our Hazer technology.”
