Notification of Transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ('PDMRs')

Hays plc (the "Company")

In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a), the Company was notified that, on 5 December 2013, Alan Thomson, a PDMR, purchased 25,000 Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company at 117.9p per share.

Following this transaction, Mr Thomson's interest (including those of his connected persons) in the Ordinary share capital of the Company is 200,000 shares.
