Hays plc (the Company), the leading global specialist recruitment company, is pleased to announce that Non-Executive Director, Peter Williams, has been appointed to the role of Senior Independent Director (SID) of the Company, with effect from 19 February 2019. The appointment follows a formal process undertaken following the appointment of Andy Martin as Chairman, which created the SID vacancy.

The Company further announces the appointment of Mary Teresa (M.T.) Rainey as designated Non-Executive Director for engagement with the Company's workforce, in line with the provisions of the UK Corporate Governance Code (July 2018), with effect from 19 February 2019.
