Haydale (AIM: HAYD), the global advanced materials group, announces that the publication of its audited results for the year ended 30 June 2021 will be delayed beyond the date previously stated in the announcement on the 18 October 2021. This follows notification by Grant Thornton UK LLP ("Grant Thornton") that, due to internal resource issues and Grant Thornton's need to replace the Statutory Auditor, it cannot meet its previously agreed audit timetable of expected publication in the week commencing 15 November 2021.

The Directors would like to reiterate that there are no changes to the Financial Update that was given on the 20 September 2021. In addition, there have been no material audit issues raised by Grant Thornton.

A further announcement will be made in due course once an audit completion date has been confirmed by Grant Thornton.
