TRADING HALT
The securities of Carpentaria Exploration Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 9 October 2017.

Request for Trading Halt
Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.1, Carpentaria Exploration Limited (ASX: CAP) (the Company ) requests a trading halt be placed on the Company’s securities pending the release of an announcement with regards to a capital raising proposal.
The Company requests the trading halt take effect immediately, and remain in place until the earlier of the Company releasing an announcement, or the commencement of trading on Monday 9 October 2017.
The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
