Appointment of Company Secretary

Hawsons Iron Ltd ( Hawsons or the Company ) advises that Mr Michael Harvey has been appointed Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) following the resignation of Mr Richard Stephens from the role, effective on 14 February 2024.

Mr Stephens has served as Company Secretary and CFO under a part-time contractual arrangement since February 2023.

The Board and Management of Hawsons thank Richard for his valuable contribution and service during the past 12 months and wish him well in the future.

Mr Harvey is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Governance Institute of Australia and holds bachelor's degrees in business and property economics and postgraduate diplomas in accounting and corporate governance.

He has more than 20 years’ experience and worked in audit and commercial roles for a range of ASXlisted companies covering all aspects of financial reporting, internal control, corporate regulation and governance, business acquisition and disposal, due diligence, and company secretarial services .

Mr Harvey, who has also been working with Hawsons for the past eight months, will be the sole representative responsible under ASX Listing Rule 12.6 for communication with the ASX regarding Listing Rule matters under a part-time contractual arrangement until business activity levels warrant a permanent full-time appointment.
