Hawsons Iron: Company Update

Appointment and Retirement of Company Secretary

Hawsons Iron Ltd (ASX: HIO ) advises that Mr Greg Khan, Chief Financial Officer, will be appointed as Company Secretary of Hawsons Iron, whilst Mr Bob Hair retires from the role of Company Secretary with effect from today.

Commenting on Bob’s retirement from the role of the Company Secretary, Executive Chairman, Bryan Granzien said, “Bob has seen the Company through a long and difficult journey. Now that the restructure of Pure Metals is well behind us and a number of other significant Company milestones completed, including:

• securing all the funds for the BFS;

• launching the Hawsons JV with Starlight;

• commencing the early works on the BFS which is on schedule;

• completing the resourcing of the Study Team; and

• initiating other important planned BFS activities,

we all agreed it was the right time to implement the transition.”

The Board advises that Mr Greg Khan will be the sole Company Secretary and will be the representative responsible under ASX Listing Rule 12.6 for communication with the ASX in relation to Listing Rule matters.

The Board intends to conduct a thorough search for a permanent Company Secretary as it ramps up its corporate and operational activities towards development, construction and then into production.
