Changes to Carpentaria Board

Carpentaria Exploration Limited (ASX:CAP) announces that Robert Hair has resigned as a director of the Company and that he will take over as company secretary from Chris Powell, effective as of the close of business today.

These changes (in addition to the reduction in non-executive director fees and the remuneration of the managing director) are in line with the Company’s announcement of 8 September 2015 and are designed to give the Company a more streamlined and cost-effective board and management structure.

The Company also advises that its co-joint venturer in the Hawsons Iron Project, Pure Metals Pty Ltd has elected not to contribute to the current approved joint venture programme and budget for the 2015-2016 financial year and will dilute its interest in accordance with the Hawsons joint venture agreement.
