Change to Adjourned AGM and Requisitioned General Meeting Dates
Carpentaria Exploration Limited (CAP) advises that the company intends to further adjourn the 2012 annual general meeting (AGM) from Wednesday 7 November 2012 at 3:30pm EST, to Friday 30 November 2012 at 10:00am so that both the AGM and the general meeting requisitioned to remove and appoint directors (Requisitioned Meeting) may be held on the same day.
The Board believes that this will benefit both the Company and all shareholders by significantly reducing the costs of holding two meetings on separate days, and will provide a speedy resolution to the matters pertaining to the Requisitioned Meeting, while minimising the inconvenience to shareholders.
The choice of 30 November 2012 was determined as a consequence of the statutory period within which CAP must hold its AGM and the maximum statutory period within which the Requisitioned Meeting must be held.
Notices of meeting and explanatory memorandum for both the AGM and the Requisitioned Meeting, together with details of the venue and time of meeting will be distributed to all shareholders no later than 29 October 2012.
