REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, we request that the ASX grant a trading halt in the ordinary shares of Hastings Technology Metals Ltd (“Hastings” or the “Company”) until the earlier of an announcement to the market concerning the presentation lodged on 26 October 2017 or Tuesday 31 October 2017.

In accordance with listing rule 17.1 the company advises that:

1. The trading halt is necessary as the Company expects to make an announcement to the market in relation to the presentation as outlined above.

2. The company wishes the trading halt to last until as such time it makes an announcement to the market concerning details of presentation as outlined above or Tuesday 31 October 2017, whichever is the earlier.

3. The company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
