HARVEST TECHNOLOGY GROUP AND THE AST GROUP EXPAND INTO GLOBAL SOLUTION PARTNER ALLIANCE

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Harvest Technology Group and The AST Group execute a global reseller and solution partner agreement.

  • Partnership of two companies who understand the unique challenges of remote operations and networks and are aligned in their drive to build awareness and provide future-proof solutions that improve customer value and operational effectiveness.

  • Expansion of early interim agreement between AST Australia and Harvest Infinity (a subsidiary of Harvest Technology Group) into global agreement

June 14, 2023: Harvest Technology Group Limited (ASX:HTG) ( Company, Harvest, Group ) is excited to announce that it has executed a global reseller agreement with Applied Satellite Technology Group (AST) Limited.

AST is an independent full-service communications integrator, providing the maritime, energy and government sectors with reliable hybrid end-to-end remote connectivity solutions. With over 30 years’ experience, AST’s experts apply their industry experience to tailor software, hardware, and airtime solutions to keep people, systems and assets connected in the remotest locations. Remote access empowers users to make datadriven decisions that enhance performance, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

Early in 2020, the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Harvest Infinity Pty Ltd (Harvest Infinity) entered into an initial Agreement with Applied Satellite Technology Australia Pty Ltd to develop strategies on joint development, marketing, and distribution of the Nodestream™ technology through AST’s global satellite connectivity network.

This reseller agreement and solution partner arrangement reflects the intentions of both companies to expand into a worldwide commercial commitment that presents a unified approach to global opportunities within the spheres of remote communications and operations across the globe.

“AST’s partnership with Harvest exemplifies the power of collaboration in providing solutions for the future of remote operations. Together, we cultivate innovation by harnessing technology that drives operational efficiency and effectiveness for even the most remote industries,” said Andrew Peters, AST’s Chief Executive

Officer. “I am delighted to have seen first-hand how our partnership has developed since 2020, as we expand now, not just in Australia, but across our global business with our aligned mission to empower remote operations with innovative technology that lead the way in this space.”

“It was a pleasure hosting AST’s CEO Andrew Peters and VP-APAC James De Vroome at our Perth facility last month. We are really pleased to enter into this new global agreement with a like-minded partner who has the future of their customer in mind,” said Harvest CEO, Paul Guilfoyle. “Both companies have clear strategies on approaching customer requirements within remote regions, creating clear alignment for us to enhance and expand our working relationship.”

The significance of this announcement is the entry of the parties into a binding and non-exclusive resale agreement for an initial term of twelve months and renewable annually that focuses on developing sales opportunities for Harvest’s technology solutions as complements to AST’s offerings, as well as providing the basis for the parties to work together on unified solutions for new opportunities and to expand AST’s existing customers across the globe. All other terms are standard for an agreement of this nature.

The Company will continue to keep the market informed of any material updates.
