Harris Technology – Update on Amazon Platform Development

Online IT and Consumer Electronic goods vendor Harris Technology Group Limited (ASX: HT8) is pleased to advise continued successful development of its online marketplace platforms.

In its announcement on 28 September 2020, HT8 announced its strategy of selling on additional marketplace platforms and establishing a new category of homeware and kitchenware which would initially be focused on the Amazon marketplace.

Events in relation to the Amazon marketplace are as follows:

• HT8 participated in the Amazon Australian Prime Event on 13 and 14 October 2020. On each of those days, HT8 achieved the highest ever daily sales in its history, achieving the following results:

  • 13 October 2020 - $118,673

  • 14 October 2020 - $206,879

This compares with the average daily sales in September of $56,000.

• Harris Technology CEO Garrison Huang participated as a panelist on the Amazon virtual summit on 15 October 2020 to share the successful growth story of becoming the #1 Tech Seller on Amazon.

• The Company has in recent months been focusing on growing its gaming product sales and has added more gaming brands into its portfolio.

• HT8 is positioning itself on the platforms to drive the sale of its Technology products in the upcoming Black Friday event and Christmas shopping season.

The release of this announcement was authorised by the Company’s chairman on behalf of the HT8 board.
