ENTERS INTO AGREEMENT WITH SONY MUSIC JAPAN

Swish Group subsidiary, Swish AmpHead, Australia’s leading distributor and marketer of online independent music is pleased to announce an exclusive three year digital and physical licensing agreement with Sony Music Japan for the internationally artist Boom Boom Satellites.

Under the exclusive license, Swish AmpHead will provide distribution to all leading music stores including JB Hifi, Sanity, Virgin and HMV. The license which also includes the provision of all related marketing services is the first of its type entered into between Swish AmpHead and Sony Music Japan and covers full physical and digital retail, mobile, third party and synchronization rights. The agreement also provides the Company with options over the bands next two releases

Boom Boom Satellites have already sold in excess of two million albums around the world and are looking to make a significant impact on the Australian / New Zealand market. It is contemplated that they will follow the release with a full national tour which should significantly increase the exposure of the band.

Yurie Yamamoto from Sony Music Japan stated “We are honoured to conclude a licensing deal for the band, Boom Boom Satellites, with Swish AmpHead in Australia. The artist first made their debut overseas prior to their home country debut, and since then, they have had an inseparable link to overseas markets. Following the releases in Asia, USA, and Europe, the forthcoming Australian release is much anticipated one, and we are very pleased to realize this project with Swish Amphead”.
