Board Change at Hargreaves Lansdown plc

The Company announces that it has received notice from Jayne Styles, an independent non-executive director, that she does not intend to seek re-election at the Company's forthcoming Annual General Meeting on 10th October 2019; she will step down from the Board on that date.

Jayne Styles was originally appointed in October 2015, and has indicated she wishes to step down to devote more time to her executive career.

While there is a NED search process currently underway, the Company does not, at this stage, intend to seek an immediate replacement for Jayne as it considers the composition of the Board will remain appropriate in terms of its size, independence, and diversity.
