Premier Oil plc ("the Company")

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a), Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility have the following notifiable interest in the Company, arising from the acquisition of Ordinary Shares of 12.5 pence each in the Company at a price of £3.1670 per Ordinary Share on 2 January 2014 through the Company's Share Incentive Plan ("the Plan").  The Company was advised of these transactions on 3 January 2014.
