CLARIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT

Reference is made to the final results announcement dated 18th July, 2008 (“Announcement”). Capitalized terms and references used herein shall bear the same meanings as in the Announcement. The Company noted a typographic error on the total amount of final dividend will be paid to the Shareholders whose names appear on the Company’s Register of Members on 22nd August, 2008. The total amount of final dividend will be paid amounting to “approximately HK$162 million” instead of “HK$161,608,295.20 million”.

As at the date of this announcement, the Board of Directors of the Company comprises four executive directors namely Mr. Deacon Te Ken Chiu, Tan Sri Dato’ David Chiu, Mr. Craig Grenfell Williams, Mr. Dennis Chiu; two non-executive directors namely Madam Ching Lan Ju Chiu, Mr. Daniel Tat Jung Chiu and three independent non-executive directors namely Mr. Kwok Wai Chan, Mr. Jian Yin Jiang and Mr. Peter Man Kong Wong.
