Press Release on a Change in the Management Board at MYSC
The HanseGroup operates a delivery station and service boatyard for the whole Mediterranean rim with its subsidiary known as Mediterranean Yacht Service Center SARL (MYSC) in Canet en Roussillon/France.
To strengthen our service operations, Mr Erich Forner has been appointed as managing director-effective 6 October 2011. As a technician, Mr Forner managed a service operation for sailboats and motor yachts on Mallorca for over 10 years and built up a broad customer base. 'I am looking forward to my new assignment in the HanseGroup. The centre in Canet en Roussillon is perfect and the boatyard's facilities are ideal from both an architectural and technical standpoint,' said Forner. 'I was persuaded to go to France by the excellent future prospects and support provided by one of the largest international manufacturers of sailing yachts.' The previous managing director, Mr Pierre-Jean Jannin, had stepped down from his position at MYSC within the framework of the annual shareholders' meeting.
In Mr Forner we are happy to have found such an able partner and are looking forward to successful teamwork.
Supporting customers around the Mediterranean is of strategic importance for the HanseGroup. MYSC has recently invested in acquiring facility premises and in expanding its machinery. We are currently looking for a French-speaking broker in order to expand our activities.
