Hansen acquires HiAffinity

Hansen Technologies Limited (ASX:HSN) is pleased to announce its subsidiary has executed definitive agreements to acquire DST Billing Solutions Limited, which owns the HiAffinity customer care and billing system (“HiAffinity”). The transaction is effective from 1 November 2016.

HiAffinity is focused on the water billing industry with clients in the United Kingdom, Australia, Africa and the Americas and is headquartered in Surbiton in London with 31 billing subject matter experts employed in the business.

Andrew Hansen said, “We are delighted the HiAffinity team will be joining Hansen, bringing with them a wealth of knowledge and experience in the water industry that will further enhance Hansen’s reputation as a global billing system specialist. This transaction is consistent with our acquisition strategy, as HiAffinity operates in our core billing & customer care business, owns the intellectual property in its product, has recurring revenue streams, and expands our water billing expertise in key markets.”

HiAffinity is expected to represent less than 5% of the combined Hansen worldwide revenue and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) on a full year basis.
