ASX Release
5 December 2019
Hansen structures its business around its Utilities and Communications industry verticals
Hansen Technologies Limited (ASX: HSN) today announces that it has formally structured its business activities around its two industry verticals, being Utilities and Communications.
Following the acquisition of Sigma Systems in June, with its customer base primarily in the Communications sector, group revenue is now equally balanced between the two verticals.
The Utilities division, which will comprise our energy and water customers, will be led by Niv Fernando as CEO. Niv was previously the Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer of the group.
The Communications division, which will comprise our telecommunications and pay-tv customers, will be led by Simon Muderack as CEO. Simon was previously the Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Sigma Systems, and prior to that the CEO of Tribold, a business Sigma acquired in 2013.
Both Niv and Simon will report to Andrew Hansen, Group CEO.
Given the growth of Hansen over recent years, the establishment of the two divisions will provide even greater industry focus and expertise to our global customer base and underpins our future growth.
As part of the transition to the new structure, Tim Spencer, the current CEO of Sigma Systems, will be stepping down from his day-to-day responsibilities and continue in a consultancy role for the Communications division.
