Appointment of Director – Sarah Morgan

Hansen Technologies Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Morgan to the position of non-executive Director with effect from 1 October 2014.

In announcing the appointment of Sarah Morgan the Hansen Technologies Chairman, David Trude, said “It is a pleasure to welcome Sarah as a member of our Board. Sarah’s extensive experience in the Finance and Corporate Advisory industry and her specific experience in acquisition/mergers and the structuring and funding there of will add depth to the Board expertise in these areas.

Sarah has no prior association with Hansen or the Hansen family and accordingly her appointment is consistent with the Board’s stated objective of increasing the level of independence on the Board. I am convinced Sarah has great value to offer to our company and I welcome the diversity she will bring to the Board.”

This appointment fills a casual vacancy on the Board and in accordance with the Company’s constitution Sarah Morgan will be presented for election as a Director at the coming Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on 26 November 2014.

About Sarah Morgan

Ms Morgan has extensive experience in the finance industry, including 16 years with independent corporate advisory firm Grant Samuel. Ms Morgan has been involved in a broad range of roles including public and private company mergers and acquisitions, as well as equity and debt capital raisings, across a broad range of industry groups.

Ms Morgan holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors

She is an advisory board member of Luxe City Guides and a non-executive director of a number of cultural organisations including the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia and the Malthouse Theatre.
