PAC CENT CYBER<1186> - Announcement The Stock Exchange has received a message from PACIFIC CENTURY CYBERWORKS LIMITED which is reproduced as follows:- "The directors of the Company wish to inform shareholders that a placing agreement has been entered into between Pacific Century Group Holdings Limited and certain placing underwriters relating to the placing of up to 335,000,000 existing shares in the Company this morning. The directors of the Company also wish to emphasize that the decision to enter into the placing agreement was made this morning. As such, we hereby request that the shares of the Company to be continued to be suspended commencing from 10:00 a.m. on 14 February 2000 pending for the issue of an announcement in relation to the aforesaid top-up placement of shares.
