PAC CENT CYBER<0008> - Odd Lots Trading Arrangement The Stock Exchange has received an announcement from Pacific Century CyberWorks Limited which is reproduced as follows:- " PACIFIC CENTURY CYBERWORKS LIMITED RIGHTS ISSUE (WITH WARRANTS) ARRANGEMENT FOR TOPPING UP ODD LOTS OF RIGHTS SHARES To alleviate the difficulties arising from the existence of odd lots of Rights Shares issued pursuant to the Rights Issue, the following arrangement will be made: 1. Where Qualifying Shareholders have been provisionally allotted odd lots of Rights Shares under the PALs and have applied for excess Rights Shares under the EAFs to top up their odd lots to whole board lots of 1,000 Rights Shares, the Directors will allocate a sufficient number of Rights Shares to make up their respective odd lots to whole board lots of 1,000 Rights Shares by allocating to such applicants: (i) excess Rights Shares representing unsold entitlements of the Excluded Shareholders, any unsold Rights Shares created by adding together fractions of Rights Shares and any Rights Shares provisionally allotted but not accepted; and (ii) to the extent that number of excess Rights Shares are insufficient to meet all such applications, Rights Shares provisionally allotted to the Major Shareholders pursuant to the arrangement; and 2. To enable holders of odd lots of Rights Shares to dispose of such odd lots or to top them up to whole board lots of 1,000 Rights Shares, the Company has appointed BNP Paribas Peregrine Securities to purchase and sell odd lots of Rights Shares in their nil-paid form, on behalf of the Company, during the period from Wednesday, 15 November 2000 up to and including Friday, 24 November 2000 (being the first and last days of dealing in nil-paid Rights Shares). Holders of such odd lots who wish to take advantage of this facility either to dispose of their odd lots or to top up their odd lots to whole board lots of 1,000 Rights Shares may, through their respective brokers, contact BNP Paribas Peregrine Securities at 36/F Asia Pacific Finance Tower, 3 Garden Road, Hong Kong (telephone no. :2825-1844). 15th November, 2000"
